Game Science has just released the September 23rd update, also known as Title Update 1.0.9.15179, for PC. This patch is 1.7GB in size and the full patch notes can be found below.
Although the update is 1.7 GB in size, you will need more to install it. As the developers claimed, your PC will need to reserve about 92 GB of free space due to the platform's update mechanism.
Note that if you have mods installed in the game, installing the patch may cause compatibility issues with the mods. This may prevent you from starting the game or cause error messages to appear during gameplay, so keep that in mind. If your game no longer starts, I recommend you remove the mods you have installed for it.
According to the changelog, this new update fixes various crashes and bugs that occur under certain conditions. It also improves the combat experience for the Yaoguai King “Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master”.
There are no performance improvements as far as I could see, so don't expect the game to run better now. That's a shame, as there's always room for improvement, so let's hope a new patch further optimizes Lumen and Path Tracing.
Additionally, patch 1.0.9.15179 fixes a number of bugs and gameplay issues. It also fixes an issue where the Chosen One could be thrown out of the invisible wall during certain fights between the Yaoguai Chieftain and the Yaoguai King.
As always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch the client. You can also find the full changelog below.
