Who is Inez in Only Murders in the Building?

Season 4 explores the other side of Arconia

Inez (Daphne Rubin-Vega) smiles as she cooks in Only Murders in the Building.

Despite Charles's sinister first impression of Inez and her family, they are quite welcoming to Mabel and Oliver when they meet in Only murders in the buildingThat said, they are not completely free from suspicion. Inez greets them with a cry of “Fresh Meat” and immediately ushers them into her house to play a card game called “Oh Hell.” As they play, Oliver and Mabel are surprised to discover that Inez is a big fan of Armthe fictional cop show that Charles starred in in the 90s. Also, She has a crush on Charles and tried to catch his eye from across the yardmuch to the chagrin of her husband and daughter. Alfonso jokes that he's been thinking about getting rid of Charles, a worrying idea for podcasters that immediately makes him a suspect. While Inez herself doesn't seem to want to harm Charles, she does seem to be hiding something, along with the rest of the “Westies,” as Charles calls them.

According to Ana, Inez wears a push-up bra while cooking, in case Charles is watching her from his apartment window.

Mabel and Oliver are concerned when they see Ana and Alfonso carrying a large knife into the bathroom. It turns out they have a ham hanging in the shower, an oddity that seems rather sinister when combined with the fact that Inez called the podcasters “fresh meat.” The Westies are also quite wary of the locked apartment on their floor, which belongs to someone named Dudenoff.. Among the various negative comments, Inez claims that the apartment's residents are often out of town. Like the Only murders in the building The Season 4 trailer confirms that Inez's behavior is strange enough to earn her a spot on the murder board, along with her family and Vince. Fans will have to wait and see if Inez and the others actually had something to do with Sazz's murder or if they're just being eccentric.
