One of the best parts of Invincible (by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley) is the enormous power levels of its characters. As the original comic book series progressed, the titular hero, Mark Grayson, was forced to become much stronger to compete with the foes he faced. And he still failed completely, or barely succeeded, on more than one occasion. Ultimately, the end result was a chain of incredibly powerful characters with a hierarchy that stretched to the heavens.
The Viltrumites are a powerful species that represent the strongest characters in the series, including Invincible and his father, Omni-Man. However, there are members of that alien race who are significantly stronger than the others. With the TV adaptation getting much-deserved attention, it's worth taking a closer look at the world of Invincible to find out who the strongest Viltrumites are.

Nolan Grayson explains Viltrum's history in the season one finale, informing Mark that he comes from a lineage of cosmic warriors. Nolan states that the Viltrumites are among the strongest species in the known universe.which is mostly true. Despite all the talk of Viltrum, the first Viltrumites other than the father-son duo don't appear until season two. Thula, Lucan, and Vidor are seen encountering and subsequently defeating Allen the alien before heading off to hunt Omni-Man. These three Viltrumites eventually go to Thraxa, attacking its population mercilessly.
Invincible attempts to stop Lucan but is unable to overpower him until Omni-Man arrives. After a brief but brutal battle, Omni-Man manages to disembowel Lucan. Later, Omni-Man and Invincible battle Vidor and Thula, respectively, defeating them. Lucan then emerges, badly injured but still alive, after calling on General Kregg to rescue his allies and capture Omni-Man. Thula and Lucan play similar roles in the original comic book series, but Vidor is an original character created for the Amazon TV series. These three warriors are ordinary Viltrumite soldiers, which explains their low rank compared to other powerful warriors from Viltrum and Earth.

Intimidation |
As the cast of Viltrumites expands, there are bound to be some who fall by the wayside as far less powerful than the main cast. Many of Thragg's half-Viltrumite children have proven themselves to be frail when pitted against full-blooded Viltrumites in battle. Even among the pure-blooded ranks of the alien species, Omni-Man stands out as substantially more powerful than most of those he faces. However, there is one who stands out even more due to her terrifying power: Anissa.
One of the strongest characters in Invincible, Anissa arrives on Earth to bring Mark back into line with the Viltrumite Empire. Later, during the Viltrumite War, she will come face to face with Omni-Man. She sticks around for most of the comic series, though she is rarely seen pushed to her limits. Defeating Invincible and besting him in the controversial Invincible #110, Anissa's heinous act cements her as one of the series' most chilling villains. Considering how advanced Invincible's powers are, it's hard to deny that Anissa ranks among the best of her kind.

As one of the generals leading the Viltrumite forces, Kregg is undoubtedly one of the strongest of his kind. A character resembling him can be seen during the Great Viltrumite Purge flashback scene in the Season 1 finale, standing victoriously next to a pile of Viltrumite corpses. The only difference is that Kregg lacks the cybernetic eye shown in Season 2. When Kregg appears on Thraxas, Omni-Man and Invincible are exhausted from fighting Lucan, Thula, and Vidor, leaving them unable to mount a counterattack. Kregg praises Invincible for fighting Thula and calls him a worthy warriorHe then declares that Omni-Man will be executed and orders Mark to finish his father's work on Earth.
Kregg has a relatively minor role in Part 2 of Season 2, where he is shown beating Omni-Man in prison. Given his high status among the Viltrumites, it is not surprising that Kregg is strong but not as bloodthirsty as some of his contemporaries. He is calm and logical, preferring to win without unnecessary bloodshed. However, Kregg participates in several battles in the comic's narrative. Over the course of the Viltrumite War, he fights against Allen the alien, Thaedus, and Space Racer. Kregg's battle with Allen is probably the most explosive, but he receives help from Anissa and her peers in defeating the powerful Unopan. Interestingly, Kregg later disguises himself as a human and begins living on Earth.

Charismatic Leadership |
One of the strongest Invincible characters, Omni-Man was not the peaceful protector of Earth he pretended to be.and the incredible destruction created by his battle with Invincible really sold that shocking revelation. The father-son confrontation escalated into a brutal beatdown that has become part of comic book history. There was a remarkable amount of power on display in that epic display, with the first punch thrown by the elder Grayson tearing skyscrapers apart and leaving thousands dead.
However, Omni-Man appears to be guilty of his actions, as seen in Season 2: Part 1 when he tricks Mark into finding him on an alien planet. His subsequent fight with two super-powered foes highlights his overwhelming strength. Omni-Man further establishes his superiority over most Viltrumites throughout the comic series, sometimes taking on two or three at a time without giving in. Throughout most of the series, he is much stronger and faster than Invincible, constantly providing a higher bar for his heroic son to reach. However, Omni-Man is still outclassed by some other Viltrumites.

Although the Invincible The comic certainly has its share of violence and gore before his arrival, but there are perhaps no fighters more brutal and bloodthirsty than Conquest. With a scar on his face and an arm replaced by a robotic prosthesis, Conquest leaves no doubt as to his good faith, tested in battle.. Since he was only injured by the Scourge Virus and is even older than the multi-millennial Omni-Man, Conquest is among the most experienced and powerful Viltrumites in Invincible.
Considering he has never lost a planet in his thousands of years of life, it seems there is little chance of fighting Conquest when he arrives on Earth. After nearly killing Invincible, Atom Eve finally takes down Conquest Going nuclear, his powers vaporize half of the conqueror. This isn't the end of him either. Conquest escapes the 400 tons of metal sealed around him just days later and has a rematch against Invincible that leaves the hero on the brink of death for months. In the end, Invincible outwits Conquest and wins their fight, but the victory is so narrow it could easily have gone the other way.

Unlimited potential |
Invincible has come a long and bloody way. By the end of the series, there is no doubt that he has earned his place as one of the most powerful Viltrumites in the universe. At the start of the series, Omni-Man can slap Invincible across the globe without sustaining any significant injury. But Invincible's powers grow over time, and he proves capable of fighting the best of the best Viltrumites and even other villains. More importantly, Mark Grayson's relatively young age means he has unlimited potential, especially since Viltrumites live for thousands of years.
Various statements indicate Invincible's increasing power over Omni-Man, and After defeating the legendary Conquest, it's clear that Invincible has surpassed his father. Notably, Omni-Man won their arm wrestling match towards the end of the series. However, there is some ambiguity surrounding Invincible's distraction and whether he intentionally lost during the scene. Regardless, the hero's raw performances make him one of the Invinciblethe strongest characters: only a Viltrumite surpasses him in terms of pure physical power.

Indestructible willpower |
Without a doubt, Grand Regent Thragg is the strongest Viltrumite on this list and one of the strongest Invincible characters. Claiming dominion over all his people early in the series, the species' dogmatic philosophy of “might makes right” speaks to just how strong Thragg must be to maintain his position. Believing in that philosophy more strictly than anyone else, the incredibly powerful villain has proven time and again why he is the strongest being in the galaxy.
Other Viltrumites can injure their hands just by hitting him, and the Grand Regent fights Battle Beast for days despite starting the duel with serious injuries. On three separate occasions, he beats Omni-Man nearly to death, maiming him with his bare hands while taking little damage himself. Ultimately, even Invincible is unable to take him down alone, and it is only with the combined efforts of Robot and other environmental factors that Thragg suffers total defeat for the first time.
