What are we playing this weekend?

Hello hello hello! I'm Edwin for a chat. I don't usually get a chance to do my features this weekend, but Ollie and James have been busy working their magic (ripping off Black Myth: Wukong to find the manuals and fleeing Gamescom), while Nic can't even type full words without his hands getting eaten (see last local update below). I know Ollie usually does picture puzzles for you, but I'm relatively naive to Photoshop and, more importantly, very lazy – so lazy that I can't think of an elegant way to finish this paragraph, and I'll just jump right into it: Here's what we're all playing this weekend.

Brandy
I downloaded the Wilmot Works It Out demo because I want to know what shenanigans my little square-spirited manimal will come up with. I KNOW these jigsaw puzzles he ordered aren't going to be normal.

Kiera
I'll be playing super secret games for the guides this weekend. Other than that, since it's a public holiday, I plan on mostly drinking wine, eating pizza, and relaxing by watching trash TV.

Jeremy
…still on vacation, unbothered by those pesky Slack notifications that he'll be sending out parts for his weekend features.

Graham
…I couldn't respond in time, so I'm legally obligated to play whatever I decide to type by running my finger through the Steam listings with my eyes closed. Have fun playing *opens eyes* Wallpaper Engine, Graham.

Olly
…probably up to his neck in Scorpionlords. Aim for the tail, Ollie!

Jacob
…now he's hunted down every last video game at Gamescom, dipped them in carbonite, and sent them to our labs for analysis. He sleeps the deepest sleep.

Ed
Since it's a bank holiday weekend here in the UK, I'll be spending time with my family and friends. Every once in a while, I think about watching some anime that I haven't watched in a long time. Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, it's time.

Beautiful
I'm doing a battle in the stars for the review. But mostly I'll play “my hand is actually a very large spider and sometimes it jumps on me to scratch you” with my cat. It's the only toy she's ever cared about.

Edwin
After writing about The Game Kitchen's The Stone Of Madness I've had a crazy urge to play Blasphemous 2, but if I do it'll probably be Arco, a brilliant anti-colonial tactical RPG that came out this week and got a little lost in the Gamescom shuffle.

So what about you, dear reader, what will you be playing this weekend?
