Until Dawn Remake supports Ray Tracing, NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3.0 on PC and receives official PC requirements

Sony has revealed the PC features for Until Dawn Remake and announced its official PC system requirements. According to the team, the game will support ray tracing on PC, as well as NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3.0.

Until Dawn Remake runs on Unreal Engine 5. And according to Sony, the developers used ray tracing to improve the game's reflections, shadows, and ambient occlusion.

Honestly, I'm pretty surprised by these RT effects. Since the game will be using UE5, I thought it would just use Lumen. However, it looks like we'll be getting support for higher quality RT effects as well.

Additionally, the PC version features unlimited frame rates and supports ultra-wide PC monitors.

According to the PC specifications, PC gamers will need at least an Intel Core i7 4790K or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon RX 470. This PC system will allow you to play at 720p and 30 fps on low settings. The game also requires 70GB of free storage space.

For gaming at 1080p/medium settings at 60fps, Sony recommends an Intel Core i5 8600 or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X with 16GB RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600XT.

For 1440p/High at 60fps you need an Intel Core i5 8600 or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X with 16 GB RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800XT.

Finally, to game in 4K at very high settings and 60 fps, you will need an Intel Core i7 11700K or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D with 16 GB RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6900XT.

From what I can see, these PC specs are for the non-RT version, so don't expect 60fps at 4K/Very High with all the ray tracing effects on a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti.

Until Dawn Remake is coming to PC on October 4th.
