Arma Bianca Now Accepting Pre-Orders for Seiko Garden of Sinners Anime Movie Collaboration Watch. Priced at 59,800 yen (approximately $412 USD), up to 50 units can be placed per purchase order until September 26, 2024. Fans will immediately recognize elements of the anime in the design, which is mainly inspired by Ryougi Shiki's “Mystic Eyes of Death Perception.” Equipped with a tachymeter and multiple chronographs, the watch pairs well with sportswear or casual wear. It is also the perfect piece for accessory ensembles.

Seiko's new Garden of Sinners watch is a limited edition collector's item

The watch's most striking feature is its main dial, which accurately resembles the concentric blue and red circles of Ryougi's Mystic Eye; in the light novels, anime films, and manga, this power allows her to sense the mortality of anything (living or non-living) during investigations or combat. This is aptly described by her quoted line next to the three o'clock mark: “Everything in this world has a tear. Not to mention humans, the atmosphere, a person's will, and even the weather.” The main dial's “demon eye” appears to shift when viewed from different angles, emulating Ryougi's activated ability.

Three red chronographs are strategically placed at six, nine, and twelve o’clock, and the hour and minute hands glow in the dark. The watch’s sleek black case and strap only serve to highlight the detailed (and versatile) main dial, evoking an aura of mystery while also offering a functional design. Ryougi’s catchy phrase is also engraved on the caseback (along with the watch’s serial number) and under the lid of the gift box. Pre-ordered units will be delivered by March 2025. The price is higher than Seiko’s other collaborations, but this is justified by the watch’s premium build and functional features.

Ufotable's The Garden of Sinners Has a 'Uniquely' Revealed Plot

The Garden of Sinners Chapter 1 with Ryougi Shiki

The Garden of Sinners might be intimidating for those who prefer straightforward narratives. The anime has an accessible premise, but the difficulty lies in unravelling its complex, non-linear story arcs. Anime studio Ufotable adapted the light novels into seven anime film chapters, released in chronological order between 2007 and 2013. These are Panoramic view, Murder Speculations – Part 1, Sense of residual pain, The Hollow Sanctuary, Spiral Paradox, Recording of oblivion, Murder Speculations – Part 2 AND Future GospelFans debate the films' rankings in terms of animation quality and story, but overall many agree that Spiral Paradox he's the best of the bunch.

The Garden of Sinners The films focus on multiple protagonists, but the main arc revolves around Ryougi Shiki, a teenage girl who works as a demon hunter and investigator for the Garan no Dou Detective Agency. The light novels, manga, and anime have a strong cult following among dark fantasy fans. Its anime adaptation is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
