Modder 'sosuinepsixuyu' has released a must-have mod for anyone playing Cyberpunk 2077 with Path Tracing/Ray Tracing. As the title suggests, this mod disables any artificial lights that are still present in the game when using Path Tracing or Ray Tracing, giving you a more realistic look now.
To go into more detail, this mod turns off the artificial lights on billboards. With ray tracing or path tracing (RT/PT), these lights aren't needed because the billboards already light up on their own. And if you use other mods like this, you'll get an even more realistic look.
In addition, the mod turns off artificial lights on things like doors and windows. These lights were used to give the impression that light was coming in from outside. But with Path Tracing and Ray Tracing, you don't need them. By using RT/PT, you automatically get more realistic lighting effects.
To demonstrate these visual improvements, the modder shared the following comparison screenshots. The screenshots from the original game are on the left, the screenshots from the modder are on the right.
You can download the mod from this link. Again, this is only for those who play CP2077 with PT or RT. If you don't use these, you should NOT install it.
If you're into Cyberpunk 2077, there are a few other cool mods you should check out as well. For example, you can download the Enhanced Photo Mode Unlocker. There's also a mod that allows cars to fly, a mod that can significantly improve the game's draw distance, and other mods that can open up new areas to explore. Then we have this mod that adds a cool Grand Theft Auto-inspired taxi driver mode. Oh, and don't forget these mods that let you play as Ciri from The Witcher 3.
To improve the graphics of the game, you can use Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked or this other HD Texture Pack that improves all trees. There is also another pack that improves the textures of almost all buildings, terrains, and environments. However, these packs do not work together, so you only need to use one of them.
In addition, there is a mod that adds realistic ragdoll physics to finishing moves. Also, Law Enforcement Overhaul is a mod that improves the game's police system. And there is even a mod that integrates the OpenAI API that enables ChatGPT support. Responsive NPCs is another cool mod that enables dynamic NPC responses. Don't miss it because it can improve your gaming experience. There is also this mod that fixes the game's broken Ray Tracing Reflections. And finally, this mod restores 100 NPCs that were removed from the game.
Have fun and stay tuned for more!
