The world is still in shock over the collision between Marvel and Fortnite in the new season of the hit video game, Absolute Doom, which features special crossover Outfits that combine Marvel characters with original Fortnite characters. In honor of the current season, Marvel Comics will be featuring the Fusion Outfits on Fortnite Variant Covers for some of its major titles throughout November.
The wonderFortnite The featured outfits are Peelverine (Wolverine and Peely), Meowtooth (Sabretooth and Meowscles), Captain Jones (Captain America and Agent Jones), and Ghost Ri-Durr (Ghost Rider and Durr Burger). Designed by Iban Coello and Afu Chan in collaboration with Epic Games, the variant covers feature artwork used for special in-game loading screens that players can unlock. The covers will grace four issues of Marvel Comics, featuring Avengers #20 and The X-Men #7 coming with the first set on November 6th. The Glutton #3 and Spirits of Vengeance The #3 Fortnite cover variants will debut on November 20 and 27, respectively.
FortniteChapter 5, Season 4: Absolute Doom ushered in the era of Doctor Doom following the recent announcement of Robert Downey Jr.'s iteration of the iconic big bad who has become the Marvel Cinematic Universe's primary antagonist. A recent update for the season brought new locations, skins, and a superhero-themed Battle Pass for Fortnite players. The update included a new limited-time mode called Day of Doom and a brand new Iron Man skin.
Another variant cover celebration of another Marvel game collaboration
Marvel recently celebrated Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics revealing the variant covers designed by Bengus, the artist responsible for the original Marvel vs Capcom game character designs. Variant covers, featuring Spider-Man, Wolverine, and more, will adorn some of the publisher's flagship titles throughout December.
The first wave of Bengus Marvel vs Capcom Variant covers will beautify All-new Venom #1, Infinity Clock #1, Glutton #4, The X-Men #8, and Avengers #21, available from December 4th. The Mysterious X-Men #7 Marvel vs Capcom The variant cover arrives on December 11th, before the Captain America #16, Fantastic Four #27, and The X-Men #9 variants, coming to comic book stores on December 18th. Finally, the The Amazing Spider-Man #64 and Iron Man #3 Marvel vs Capcom Cover variants will arrive on Christmas Day.
Capcom, in collaboration with Marvel Games, has announced the compilation of the game Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics in June. The game commemorates the Marvel vs Capcom crossover fighting game franchise and comprises seven arcade titles released between 1993 and 2000. The lineup notably includes Marvel Superheroes, Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of the Superheroes, AND Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes.
