Capcom announced that it is working on a new patch for Dragon's Dogma 2 that will improve CPU usage. So, in theory, this upcoming update will improve performance in various CPU-intensive scenes, such as cities.
Capcom has already made some CPU improvements to the game, but it's good to know that the team is working on further CPU performance optimizations.
This upcoming update will also reduce crashes and bring additional adjustments.
Unfortunately, it is not yet known when it will be released. In addition, there are no plans to add support for path tracing. This is a shame, as PC players can already force it via this mod. The only downside to the PT mod is that it does not have a noise suppressor. Therefore, the image is full of noise artifacts.
Speaking of DD2, there are a few other cool mods you can download for it. However, these mods may not be compatible with this new profession mod.
You can download this mod that improves mouse camera movement. Another mod adds a cool targeting combat mechanic. Then we have this mod that prevents you from falling off rocks and cliffs. In addition to that, we have the custom professions/classes Assassin and Samurai. There's also this mod that tries to make the game feel more like Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen.
Let's also not forget this mod that improves the quality of ray tracing and reduces its smearing effects. There's also this mod that adds teleport waypoints to all the important locations. Then we have this mod that allows you to use Normal Maps at the highest quality and fixes a compression issue that could affect every single texture. Finally, you can get some 4K texture packs here and here.
Stay tuned for more!
❗Update for Dragon's Dogma 2 coming soon ❗
We will be releasing an update for all platforms shortly that will further improve CPU usage, reduce crashes, and make additional adjustments.
Further details will be announced as soon as they are available. #DD2
