Microids just released a new gameplay trailer for Smurfs Dreams. And to my surprise, this new Smurfs game feels like a clone of Super Mario 3D World in this trailer. Which is good.
For those who don't know, Smurfs Dreams is a new 3D platform game coming soon to PC. This new Smurfs game will support single player and co-op modes, so players can team up with their friends to play the game.
The game promises varied worlds, each with its own challenges and surprises. There are 4 dream worlds with 12 levels and 16 mini-levels to conquer.
Players can use their moves and tools to overcome the many challenges the Smurfs have dreamed of. They can also collect magic orbs and patterns to customize their Smurf.
As I said, I'm pleasantly surprised by this trailer. We all know that Nintendo won't be releasing any of its Mario games on PC. At least not in the foreseeable future. So a clone of a 3D Mario game is exactly what many non-Nintendo fans have been wanting. And it looks like this one is going to be pretty good.
Microids will release The Smurfs: Dreams on October 24th. As far as I know, the publisher has not yet announced the game's PC requirements.
Have fun and stay tuned for more!
