LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW RePOP began as a remake but ended up as a remaster of the original LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW (2012). RePOP is a definitive version of the game that keeps the story unchanged and focuses on quality of life improvements and additional gameplay content.
According to the developers, this remaster will have shorter loading times. In addition, you can increase the resolution to 4K (but it is not yet known whether it will support frame rates above 60 fps).
The chainsaw action has been sped up with the introduction of the Chained Hits Hunting system, where chaining multiple hits together in a row increases the player's attack speed. In addition, input times for combo actions have been adjusted to better match player expectations.
The Chainsaw Blaster action has been improved with the addition of toggleable auto-lock and auto-fire modes, as well as an increased maximum ammo count of 99. In addition, the player can now use combo moves right from the start of the game.
Dragami Games has also added a new RePOP mode that uses a unique and colorful pop-art inspired art style for damage effects. This is an additional mode. In other words, the remake will also have an Original mode with all the blood of the original version.
Players can also look forward to unique new chainsaws with significantly different functions. There will also be 30 costumes, more than in the original game. Combined with 4 new hair colors and 4 new chainsaws, that makes 750 different possible combinations.
Finally, the developers have expanded JULIET'S ROOM with additional features and added a Time Attack mode with a ranking function.
Stay tuned for more!
