Daedalic has announced a new horror game called The Occultist, which will be released for PC in 2025. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher has released a cinematic trailer, which you can find below.
The Occultist will be played from a first-person perspective and with stealth mechanics. Players will experience the game world through the eyes of Alan Rebels and use the mystical pendulum to find out what happened in GodStone.
The game promises all the typical elements of the survival horror genre with exciting exploration and atmosphere as well as an up close and personal narrative.
As the developers claimed, Alan will always avoid direct combat, so he must rely on his stealth skills to progress through the story without being caught off guard.
It's kind of a shame that this trailer doesn't include any in-game sequences, so it's a non-starter for most gamers. The Steam store page does have an in-game GIF though, so I've included that below as well.
Have fun and stay tuned for more!
