Happy new week everyone! Squirrels are trying to kill me. There is a giant horse chestnut tree outside my apartment and they drop chestnuts on my head every time I walk under it. The Squirrels are clearly affiliated with the Maw. They want to give me a concussion and block the flow of video game news to the Maw, which will manifest completely and bring about a dark age. Jokes on you, squirrels, because I played field hockey when I was a kid and hit my head on hard round objects a million times. How else do you explain my career choice? Anyway, here's a list of PC games coming out in the next five days.
On Monday, September 16, stop-motion Odyssey Judero, super-sports-do-it-yourself Fairy Tale: Beach Volleyball Havoc, match-3 wizard Witching Stone, wall-punching Duke Nuker Chains Of Fury and whatever Starstruck should be – toytown Black & White? Guitar Hero? On Tuesday, September 17, please do one of the following: help the little blue folk survive glacial conditions in Goblin Camp, breach the boundary between 2D and 3D in The Plucky Square, or get your Devil May Clive on in the PC version of Final Fantasy 16. On Wednesday, September 18, Enotria: The Last Song and musical cyber-JRPG Keylocker join forces in a desperate bid to take on UFO 50, which is trying to take over the market by offering 50 games in one. On Thursday September 19, a sophisticated blend of deicide and nostalgia in the form of bearded axe management sim God Of War Ragnarok and SNES throwback Beyond Shadowgate. And on Friday September 20, the chance to climb megastructures in Lorn's Lure, be a gliding bird in Faaast Penguin and play post-apocalyptic politics in Frostpunk 2.
Good stuff there, I guess? I left out a few promising games for the sake of compactness and also because I have double vision for some reason. Can you guess what they are? As always, you can follow our news-botherers in the live blog below. Have a great week, everyone, and watch out for chestnuts.
Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen isn't involved in the game's revival – and he's not particularly keen on it.

This week's word game theme is either immersive simulations or Latin performing arts, I can't decide. FEED THE MOUTH.
