The Power Rangers franchise has run for thirty years, with multiple production companies defining the eras of the franchise. The New Saban era, which ran from 2011 to 2019, saw a massive renaissance for the Power Rangers brand, with the original production company, Saban Brands, buying back the production rights from Disney. The New Saban era sometimes referred to as the Neo-Saban era, released four series during its run.
Power Rangers is naturally known for its action scenes. While each episode features multiple fight scenes, some scenes stood out more than others. Across the eight seasons of the New Saban era, these fight scenes stood out as especially exciting.

September 12. 2015 |
Power Rangers Dino Charge was a stand out of the New Saban era, featuring 11 Rangers on the team. The introduction of the Gold Ranger was an especially fun fight scene. After the introduction of Sir Ivan of Zandar in the previous episode, Ivan finally morphs into the ornate Gold Ranger suit in front of the Dino Charge team.
Like many great fight scenes in Power Rangers, this scene takes place in a quarry, with the rangers battling Fury, Curio, Wrench, Spikeballs and the Vicixs. When Ivan morphs, he takes the battle to a whole new level, quickly defeating the villains. It was epic to see Ivan in action, being the first Ranger on the Dino Charge team with the ability to fly.

The Dino Charge and Ninja Steel Blue Rangers Gave a Very Meta Crossover

One aspect fans didn’t enjoy about the New Saban was the annual Christmas special. These specials usually took place after the events of their season and felt like a forced, tacked-on entry in the series. Super Ninja Steel’s Christmas special, however, did something genuinely interesting, featuring a team-up between the Blue Rangers of Ninja Steel and Dino Charge.
While the two Blue Rangers had met previously during the events of “Dimensions in Danger,” it was really cool seeing them team up one-on-one. What made this scene so cool on a meta level was that the actors, Peter Sudarso and Yoshi Sudarso, are brothers in real life. It was great fan service seeing the brother duo take on Sledge in this fun action scene.
8 Super Megaforce’s S.P.D. Fight Paid Tribute to the Popular Season
Super Megaforce’s Second Episode Featured an Action Scene at Night

“Earth Fights Back” |
Release Date |
February 22, 2014 |
Power Rangers Super Megaforce was certainly a low point for the New Saban era. However, the concept was rather interesting, with the Rangers having the ability to morph into suits from previous Rangers seasons. The second episode of Super Megaforce, “Earth Fights Back,” featured many scenes of the Rangers in these “legendary modes,” but one scene that stood out was the S.P.D. scene.
Fight scenes at night are extremely rare in Power Rangers, so it felt especially cool seeing the Rangers morph into the S.P.D. suits in the shadow of night. Given the sleek design of the S.P.D. suits, it was especially cool to see them in HD, which hadn’t been seen before. The Rangers use the Delta Blasters and Deltamax Strikers to destroy Cybax, turning away as he explodes in perfect Power Rangers fashion.
7 Dino Charge’s Final Fight Scene Had World-Changing Consequences
The Large Team of Rangers Worked With the Citizens to Destroy the Dark Energem

“End of Extinction” |
Release Date |
November 12, 2016 |
Power Rangers Dino Charge felt rather epic, and the series finale was rather satisfying. The final battle against Sledge made use of the series’ large Ranger team, with the Ptera Zord being piloted by the Gold, Black, Blue, Pink and Green Rangers, while the Plesio Zord was piloted by the Red, Graphite, Purple, Aqua and Silver Rangers, along with Heckyl.
The Rangers fly their Zords into space, releasing the Dark Energem into Earth’s atmosphere. It was great to see the citizens of Amber Beach play a role in the battle, holding up mirrors to reflect the sun’s rays to help destroy the Dark Energem. The effects of the battle really elevated the fight scene, creating a black hole that sucked in both the villains’ ship and Earth itself.
6 Samurai’s Jayden and Deker Had an Intense Fight Scene
The Ongoing Feud Had Great Build-up
Series |
Power Rangers Super Samurai |

“Evil Reborn” |
Release Date |
November 17, 2012 |
One great aspect of Power Rangers Samurai was the ongoing rivalry between Jayden, the Red Ranger, and Deker, the half-human Nighlok, who was determined to find the perfect opponent to duel. The rivalry between the two led to many fight scenes across the two seasons of Samurai, but it was their epic confrontation in “Evil Reborn” that really felt satisfying after so much build-up.
The fight lasts throughout the episode, starting off with the two unmorphed on horseback in the forest. Eventually, the two morph into their Ranger and Nighlok forms, respectively, burning down the forest in their epic fight. It was incredibly cool to see the two battle at night, lit by the fire of the forest. It was an especially great plot twist to have Deker ultimately defeated by Kevin, the Blue Ranger after Jayden refuses to kill him.

“Samurai Forever” |

December 8, 2012 |
Power Rangers Samurai really put Power Rangers back into pop culture relevance, introducing the franchise to a whole new generation. The series finale was a highlight, really highlighting the epic nature of the series. The final fight scene was especially well done, lasting throughout the final episode.
The fight scene begins with the Rangers, covered in soot, standing in a destroyed building, running into battle unmorphed. The fight is then taken into the Megazord with Master Xandred destroying much of their Zords. It was incredibly great to see the Rangers, unmorphed in the broken-down cockpit, putting all their combined power together for the ultimate final strike.
4 The Super Megaforce Extended Finale Included a Great Fight Scene
The Rangers Used Legendary Battilizer Modes to Defeat Emperor Mavro

“The Legendary Battle: Extended Edition” |
Release Date |
November 24, 2014 |
This fight scene is rather interesting, particularly as it was not included in the original premiere of the Super Megaforce finale. This fight scene sees the Rangers taking on Emperor Mavro at ground level. The Rangers morph into their Super Mega modes before morphing into several legendary modes throughout the battle.
Some of these legendary modes include Operation Overdrive, the Green Ranger from Ninja Storm, and the Blue Lightspeed Rescue suit. What really made this scene, however, was the legendary Battilizer modes, which saw the six Rangers morphing into secondary Ranger forms from throughout the franchise, including the Samurai Red Ranger, Mystic Force Pink Ranger, S.P.D. Green Ranger, and Jungle Fury Yellow.

“Super Megaforce” |

February 15, 2014 |
Power Rangers Super Megaforce was a very disappointing season, particularly given that it was meant to be the 20th-anniversary series of the franchise. However, the concept was rather interesting, with the Rangers morphing into suits from previous teams. The first fight scene of the season sees the Rangers morph into the Super Megaforce suits for the first time, against an army of X Borgs.
Throughout the battle, the Rangers morph into several legendary modes, including Samurai, Mystic Force, and Ninja Storm. The coolest moment by far was when the Rangers all morphed into Red legendary modes. It was fantastic to see the Red Samurai suit, the Red Wild Force suit, the Red Mystic Force suit, the Red Operation Overdrive suit, and the Red Jungle Fury suit all fighting together as one team in a moment that feels like a tribute to the “Forever Red” anniversary episode.
2 “Dimensions in Danger” Featured an Amazing Action Sequence
The 25th Anniversary Episode Saw the Return of Ten Legendary Rangers
Series |
Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel |
Episode |
“Dimensions in Danger” |
Release Date |
August 28, 2018 |
The 25th anniversary episode, “Dimensions in Danger” featured Rangers from across Power Rangers history teaming up for a multiversal battle with the evil Lord Draven. The episode is a highlight of Super Ninja Steel, featuring the return of Tommy Oliver and the introduction of the Master Morpher. The final fight scene is pretty epic, with the Ninja Steel team, along with ten returning Rangers, all morphing together against a signature Power Rangers back explosion.
The fight scene is certainly the best of Ninja Steel, with the Rangers fighting an army of robot Ranger clones. The sequence uses plenty of wirework and explosions, much more than seen throughout Ninja Steel. The scene ends with Tommy, in his White Mighty Morphin’ Ranger suit, piloting the Falcon Zord to destroy Lord Draven.
1 The Legendary Battle Was a Big Moment in Power Rangers History
Ranger Teams From Across the Franchise’s History Teamed up in This Fight Scene
Series |
Power Rangers Super Megaforce |
Episode |
“Legendary Battle” |
Release Date |
November 22, 2014 |
The finale of Super Megaforce featured a pretty big moment in Power Rangers history, with the legendary battle. The scene was the biggest Power Rangers team yet, with every Ranger from Power Rangers history teaming up to take on the remaining X Borgs. It was a fantastic moment seeing each Ranger team appear from above the quarry, before joining the Super Megaforce team.
While the sequence wasn’t nearly as good as the version from the Super Sentai film, Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle, it was still a great moment to see this epic team-up event. It’s by no means perfect, with Super Megaforce weirdly including Sentai-only teams in the backgrounds of certain shots; it was certainly a monumental moment in Power Rangers history.
