In the bleak darkness of the distant future, there is only War, unless you have a 64-bit PC with the equivalent of an Intel Core i5-8600K and at least eight gigabytes of RAM, in which case you'll have to live in, I dunno, eternal peace or something. I'm pretty sure not having eight gigabytes of RAM is heresy, but fear not, you can probably make up for it by taking a leaf out of the God-Emperor's book and funneling a bunch of dying psychic brain energy into your motherboard.
All of this is to say that Focus Home has released the system requirements for its massive-shouldered action game, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. You can proudly see them in the header image above, and find them written out for easier copy and paste in the quote block below.

To my non-hardware-editor eye these don't look that scary, but keep in mind that these are what's needed to run the game at 1080p. I think higher resolutions on Ultra will come at a cost. Best to pick up a few more psionics, just to be sure.
Space Marine 2 is out on September 9th, and I think it’s fair to say we’re eagerly awaiting it. To get down to the cursed jargon of ratings, the 2011 original felt like a 7/10 action game that was actually a 9/10 action game wielding a chainsword. The sequel features a new campaign featuring the Ultramarine’s loyal Lieutenant Titus, as well as a rogue’s gallery of greenskins, Tyranids, and Chaos Marines. There’s also co-op and competitive multiplayer, but sadly it doesn’t look like there’ll be any cross-species PvP.
That last one is, of course, a test of your loyalty to the Empire, the most important of all “system requirements.” A true servant of the God-Emperor would not be ashamed of not being able to play a Tyranid. Speaking of traitors, a WIP but apparently complete and fully playable version of the game leaked online last month. If you're willing to spoil it for yourself, I can tell you that there's footage out in the wild.
