Blizzard promises “something for everyone” at Warcraft's 30th Anniversary Direct next month

Blizzard announced earlier this year that BlizzCon would not take place in 2024, instead replacing the live event with a series of franchise-focused broadcasts. The next part of the schedule is the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct, which Blizzard announced will air on Wednesday, November 13 at 6pm GMT/1pm ET/10am PT.

Monster Hunter Wilds PC beta launches this month with a character editor and cooperative multiplayer

Capcom announced that the Monster Hunter Wilds open beta will begin next week. It will be available on Steam from October 31 to November 3, 2024, allowing the more impatient Capcommandos among us to get a taste of the new setting and combat mechanics ahead of the game's full release in February next year.

Dead Cells developer's new action-roguelike Windblown is getting a demo and Early Access release this month

Windblown is an action roguelite very similar to developer Motion Twin's previous game, Dead Cells, but swaps the side-scrolling 'vania' vibes for a 3D and more colorful world and adds co-op for up to three friends. It sounds very appealing, and it now has a release date: October 24th.

Even better, a single-player demo is coming as part of Steam Next Fest on October 14th.

RPS is “nourishing,” “life-changing,” and “healed my oddly shaped hip!” As members of the supporter program (not actual reviews) will be reading this Friday, I recently did a 180 on my views on the scrappy 'nid stomper' Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. This is mainly down to the multiplayer Operations mode. It's not as deep as Darktide, but it feels like a lot less work and I'm starting to notice how remarkable the little details in the animation and sound are. The Sabers also seem to agree that they have a winner on their hands. According to yesterday's community update, they're wasting no time teasing the details of the game's next co-op mission.
