Steam's built-in game save feature has been available in beta since the summer, but following a client update to Steam yesterday, it's now properly launched for every user. It's basically another method of capturing funny ragdoll bloopers and sending them to the “lol-games-idiot” channel of your friend's Discord. Or because you shared that accidental knife throw in Call Of Duty on Twitter, as if you really wanted to kill the guy on the map all along. Or save a clip for your personal recordings, like the moment you knocked an innocent citizen off the 15-foot wall of the castle town in Dragon's Dogma 2. We all do this, right? Right?

Skyrim wouldn't have the legacy it has today without this key feature
Like many Bethesda Softworks games, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim it was designed to be modified by players to increase its replayability. IO Interactive hasn't said whether a potential Project 007 “trilogy” would feature Hitman's awesome tails, so who's to say if it'll be worth my time?
In a recent chat with Ian Games Network, IO Interactive boss Hakan Abrak said that the Hitman developer had “over 20 years of training purely for the agent fantasy, he definitely feels what it brings to us to create a world-traveling agent.” I have some know-how about bringing James Bond to the greasy screen (“greasescreen” is my attempt at creating a new “big/small screen” but for games. I foresee a huge success).
Abrak is so confident that he thinks Bond projects can reflect the format of the World Of Assassination trilogy. Abrak says: “But what's exciting about this project is that we actually got to make an original story. So it's not a gamification of a movie. It completely starts and turns into a story; hopefully there will be a big trilogy in the future.”
A good interview, worth reading. But I have to ask: How are the queues, Abrak? How do you get excited about a new IO game? aren't you talking about queues?

Convergence Games Showcase to feature announcements from indie publishers like Secret Mode, Thunderful, and Kepler
There seems to be an endless number of video game trailers these days, each one promising to be full of exciting indie games. Regardless of my feelings about the entertainment value of these streams, I can't deny that I've watched them all or that they've introduced me to games I might otherwise have missed.
The next event on the calendar is the Convegence games showcase on September 26, which promises to be a new event featuring – hey, what a change – exciting indie games. There are some well-known publishers on hand too, including the likes of Secret Mode, Thunderful, and Kepler.
