Steam's Space Exploration Festival kicks off with discounts and demos on September 2

Another week, another Steam Festival is upon us. From September 2nd to September 9th, you'll find intergalactic discounts and demos at Steam Space Exploration Fest.

The sale hasn’t even started yet, but the trailer above offers a preview of some of the games featured. I highly recommend ΔV: Rings Of Saturn, which is a tough one to write about, a physics-based 2D space mining sim about diving deeper into an asteroid field. Sin loved it in ΔV: Review Of Saturn , and Sin can never go wrong.

I'm often wrong, so you may disagree with my negative review of the interplanetary marble run Exo One, also featured above. I thought it was an impressive screensaver.

There are a lot of other games in the trailer that I haven't played yet. For example, when The Invincible finally appeared, I had to do a double-take and rewind a bit. This looks slick, right? How will I know how often Julian gets it wrong unless I try it myself?

This Steam page will be the homepage for the sale when it goes live on Monday. I'm telling you this now because otherwise we'll forget about it and won't write about it again until the sale is halfway done, and maybe you'll save your money tomorrow instead of spending it on a Peppa Pig ride at your local garden centre.
