Space Marine 2 just got a FOV mod

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 is a third-person action game that unfortunately lacks FOV settings. Thankfully, however, there is a mod that allows you to use higher FOV values, which many PC gamers will appreciate.

Honestly, I played for over 3 hours and had no issues with the default FOV, but it's a bit of a shame that Saber doesn't have a FOV adjustment built in.

The standard field of view is about 74, so with this mod you can increase it to 90 or 102. According to its creator, the mod will not break the special game mechanics. Therefore, there will be no problems with focus, aiming the weapon and target acquisition in the game.

You can download the FOV Mod from this link. To install it, simply extract the file to the main Space Marine 2 folder (for example, if you use Steam, the folder will be steamapps\common\Space Marine 2\ ).

And that's all. Below is a comparison between the default FOV and the modified 90 degree FOV. The default FOV is very close to Titus and people with small PC monitors may not like it, so if for some reason you find the FOV too low, I recommend using the mod.

Yesterday, Focus Entertainment announced that the game had sold two million copies across all platforms. The game also had a peak of 225,000 concurrent players on Steam, meaning it sold well on PC. It also has mostly positive reviews on Steam.

Finally, Space Marine 2 seems to be pretty optimized for PC. At least if you're using a modern CPU. After all, the game puts a LOT of enemies on screen. As for GPU requirements, an NVIDIA RTX2080Ti can hit 60 fps at 1080p/Ultra.

Have fun and stay tuned for more!
