Snake Eater TGS 2024 trailer with built-in engine

Konami has released the TGS 2024 in-engine trailer for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. The trailer also features some gameplay sequences. The reason I call this an in-engine trailer and not a gameplay trailer is because it mostly features in-engine cutscenes.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will stay true to the original story and game design. The team will enhance the gameplay with amazing graphics and a seamless user experience.

Players can choose a newly added and more modern control style. They can also choose a classic control style that better reflects the feel of the original game. In addition, there are a number of color filters for you to choose from.

MGSD: SE is powered by Unreal Engine 5. Also, David Hayter will return as the voice of Naked Snake, which is another thing that all MGS fans will be happy about.

Last month, Konami stated that the game will run in 4K at 30 frames per second and on consoles at 1080p with higher frame rates. I'm not sure if the PS5 Pro will hit 60 frames per second. What I do know is that PC will once again offer the best balance between graphics and performance. That is at least if you have a high-end PC system.

Let's just hope Konami adds support for NVIDIA DLSS 3 and AMD FSR 3.0. Since it's a UE5 game, it should be easy to add them. Then again, this is Konami, so you never know.

There is currently no estimated release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, but we will of course keep you updated.

Enjoy the trailer!
