For the first time in nearly 2 years, Yoshihiro Togashi's popular action-adventure manga series, Hunter x Hunterwill return to Weekly Shonen Jump.
Via Shonen Jump Press the Jump button plan, Hunter x Hunter It was revealed that he would be returning to Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 45, scheduled for release on October 7, 2024. It marks Togashi's return to publishing for the first time since his hiatus in December 2022.

This follows the announcement that Hunter x Hunter will get its first new volume release since 2022, which includes 208 pages of previously released chapters. The past few months have marked one of Togashi's most active periods since his last hiatus; he shared that he finished chapter 402 in late July, shortly after it was announced that chapter 403 had been completed just 24 hours later.
VIZ Licenses Hunter x Hunter in North America, with the series available to read on MANGA Plus and the Shonen Jump app. The first volume is officially described as follows: “Gon may be a country boy, but he has big aspirations. Despite his aunt Mito's protests, Gon decides to follow in his father's footsteps and become a Legendary Hunter. Aspiring Hunters begin their journey on a storm-tossed ship, where Gon meets Leorio and Kurapika, the only other candidates who aren't wracked by bouts of seasickness. Having survived the terrors of the high seas, Gon and his companions must now prove their worth in a series of tests to find the elusive Exam Hall.
