Channing Tatum tried to get his Gambit films for years. He finally managed to play the character in Deadpool and Wolverine and now Ryan Reynolds has said he would do anything to help him if he got the movie, including returning to play Deadpool.
Ryan Reynolds and Channing Tatum have a lot in common. Both have waited a long time to bring their superhero characters, Deadpool and Gambit, to the big screen, although Reynolds has had more success with that one. Reynolds has long advocated for getting a Dead Pool film, and recently premiered the third film starring the Merc with a Mouth after the 2016 and 2018 films. Unfortunately, Tatum wasn't so lucky and spoke out on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon how long has he been trying to get it going, and Reynolds has given him his full support on social media.
