The former Fox series, Evasion leads the Nielsen streaming ratings for the week of August 5-11.
The show, also available for streaming on Hulu, was added to Netflix on July 29 and more than doubled viewing time compared to the previous week, from 758 million to 1.6 billion minutesas reported by The Hollywood Reporter.Evasion ran for five seasons on Fox, starting in 2005. Hulu is developing a Evasion reboot with showrunner Elgin James of MC member of Myans.
The Umbrella Academystreaming on Netflix, It was the most-watched original series on the streaming service for the week with 1.46 billion minutes watched. The series is in its final season, and while the numbers are still strong, they are down from the show's third season debut in June 2022, which had 2.45 billion minutes watched. The show was the only original series to crack the top 10 overall for the week.
Bluey also surpasses 1 billion minutes watched
The Disney+ series, Sky blue, collected 1.03 billion minutesand was the only other show to surpass one billion minutes for the week. Max's House of the Dragon It totaled just under 1 billion minutes, or 953 million, concluding its seven-week run with a gross of over 1 billion minutes. Country of Fire, in its second season on CBS, and streaming on Netflix and Paramount+, made its first appearance on the streaming charts with 765 billion minutes. A spin-off of Country of Fire, starring Morena Baccarin, has been acquired by CBS for the 2025-26 television season.
The week also ended one of the longest positive streaks in the Nielsen ratings. NCIS did not rank in the top 10 for the first time since December 2020, which ended 188 consecutive weeks on the streaming charts. The Nielsen streaming ratings, however, do not measure minutes watched on computers or mobile devices, only viewing on televisions. The rankings also measure viewership only in the United States

THE Evasion rebirth comes in conjunction with the development of a new series set in the same universe. It was previously reported that a new Evasion series was in the works at Hulu. In July, executive producer Marty Adelstein told Deadline that the new series was “going really well” in development.
Evasion is available for streaming on Netflix, while the sequel series does not yet have a release date on Hulu.
