Phantom Blade Zero gets a Gamescom 2024 trailer and an 8-minute gameplay video

S-Game has released the official Gamescom 2024 trailer for Phantom Blade Zero. Additionally, Gamespot has released a video showing 8 minutes of gameplay from its Gamescom 2024 demo, so let's check it out.

In the 8 minute gameplay video we see 3 boss fights and some small skirmishes. We also see some weapon variants including dual blades, a one handed sword, a great sword, a cannon and a flamethrower.

As far as we know, Phantom Blade Zero will not be a new Souls-like game. Instead, players will have various combos at their disposal. They will also be able to stagger their enemies, similar to Sekiro. In a way, the game will be a mix of Devil May Cry and Sekiro, so if you don't like the Dark Souls games, you will most likely be happy with this title.

For anyone who is interested: Blade Phantom Zero will be coming to PC. S-Game has already confirmed this in February 2024. To be more precise, the game will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Phantom Blade Zero is powered by Unreal Engine 5. However, we don't know if it will support Lumen or Nanite. We also don't know if there will be support for NVIDIA DLSS, AMD FSR, or Intel XeSS.

Finally, there is no estimated release date for the game yet. My guess is that Phantom Blade Zero will probably be released in fall 2026, so don't expect to be able to play it anytime soon.

Have fun and stay tuned for more!
