KOEI Tecmo has announced that DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS will be released on January 17, 2025. To celebrate this announcement, the publisher has released a new gameplay trailer, which you can find below.
DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS is a new Musou game designed to deliver the largest battle in the franchise's history. Players will experience 1v1,000 action and the onslaught of massive armies.
Throughout the game, players must act quickly as the unprecedented size and scale of enemy armies overwhelm the battlefield. Coordination with allied armies is crucial as players employ real-time battle tactics while fighting through waves of soldiers.
DYNASTY WARRIORS: ORIGINS aims to have the largest number of soldiers in the history of the series so far. Enemy soldiers attack together and are extremely fearsome. While you use your own skills to fight, you must also advance with your allies to clear the way. Once you storm the field and prepare for battle, you and your allies will encounter thousands of enemy soldiers from opposing armies. In addition, under certain conditions, you can temporarily control Guan Yu and other officers who march alongside you.
The game's story is experienced through the amnesiac protagonist, who moves through the story as a lone hero. As the game progresses, the Three Kingdoms episodes are described more clearly and in more detail. KOEI TECMO claims that this provides a clear and exciting experience not only for fans of Romance of the Three Kingdoms and DYNASTY WARRIORS, but also for newcomers to the franchises.
Have fun and stay tuned for more!
