KRAFTON has launched the Steam store page for inZOI and announced the official PC system requirements. inZOI is a life simulation game powered by Unreal Engine 5 that will compete with EA's The Sims, so let's take a look at what hardware PC gamers will need to run it.
According to the PC specs, PC gamers will need at least an Intel i5 10400 or AMD Ryzen 3600 with 12GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 2060 or AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT. The game also requires 60GB of free storage space.
KRAFTON recommends using an Intel i7 12700 or AMD Ryzen 5800 with 16 GB RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 3070 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT.
For anyone wondering, there is no estimated release date for the game yet. So how come we have official PC requirements and no release date? Well, the answer is simple.
Over the past few months, KRAFTON has launched various closed beta tests for inZOI, so we can assume that these PC specs are representative of the PC hardware you'll need to run the beta builds. That said, KRAFTON still seems to be planning to release the game by the end of 2024.
It will be interesting to see if inZOI can “steal” EA's fans of The Sims. Rumors have it that The Sims 5 could be in development hell. While we don't have any concrete details, it seems odd that we haven't heard anything about it in the last year. In fact, EA hasn't released any official gameplay footage since 2022.
Everything we have about The Sims 5/Project Rene comes from various leaks. In February 2024, a PC version was leaked online in advance. Then in March 2024, five minutes of gameplay from it were leaked.
Stay tuned for more!
