Well-known leaker “kopite7kimi” has revealed the specifications for NVIDIA’s next high-end GPU, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090. According to the leaker, the NVIDIA RTX 5090 will require 600W and feature 32GB of GDDR7 with a 512-bit bandwidth bus.
kopite7kimi is a reliable source for GPU leaks, so these seem to be real. However, as with all rumors, we recommend taking everything you're about to read with a grain of salt.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 will have a 2-slot cooler and will be based on the PG144/145-SKU30. Below you can find all the specifications shared by kopite7kimi.

As you might have guessed, these are not the full GPU specs. For example, we don't know the clock speeds yet. We also don't know the TMUs, the ROPs, or the ray tracing cores. However, these will give you a rough idea of what to expect from this new GPU.
For comparison, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 has 24 GB GDDR6X, a 384-bit bandwidth bus, and requires 450 W.
The NVIDIA RTX 5090 is rumored to launch in early 2025. Given the timing of this leak, those rumors seem to be true. In other words, don't expect this GPU to be announced in 2024.
