Modder 'GrabussPC' is currently working on a graphics mod for Need for Speed Rivals. A few days ago, the modder released a new trailer for it and revealed that version 5.0 will be released on October 14th.
Need for Speed Rivals Plus V5.0 is expected to significantly improve the graphics and gameplay. Version 5.0 offers many big improvements in terms of graphics. Unfortunately, the modder did not go into detail about this. Players can also look forward to more E3 content, a larger list of add-ons, bug fixes and many other new changes.
In Need for Speed Rivals, you can play as either a cop or a racer and take part in thrilling street races. You can choose between two different career paths, each with its own challenges, rewards and special cars. Whether you're a cop chasing racers or a racer trying to outrun the police, you'll need skill and speed to win in this rivalry.
NFS: Rivals was released for PC in 2013. The game runs on the Frostbite Engine and was capped at 30 fps. However, in 2023, there was a mod that removed the 30 fps cap so PC players could enjoy the game at 60 fps. I don't know if NFS Rivals Plus V5 also allows you to unlock the framerate. If not, I hope it will be compatible with the 60 fps mod.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
A big compliment to our reader 'durka durka', who brought this to my attention
