MrBeast Launches Toy Line Amid Disturbing Allegations

Mr Beast, aka Jimmy Donaldson, has enjoyed a relatively unblemished rise to YouTube stardom and 309 million subscribers, but new allegations are putting him and his business empire under scrutiny. With new allegations emerging daily, the YouTuber has turned his attention to the quiet launch of his Mr Beast Lab toy line.

Made in collaboration with Moose Toys, MrBeast Lab is a reimagining of the “collect them all” style toys that were so popular in the late ’90s and early 2000s. Modeled after the lab-grown monsters, there are smaller test tubes, MrBeast Lab Swarms, and larger MrBeast Labs Mutators. Starting at $4.99, the Swarms are small toys that are revealed by adding water and shaking; there are over 100 to collect and they come in packs of 2, 5, or 12. The Mutator series is priced at $24.99 and, after adding the included liquid and using a “fingerprint scanner,” reveals a toy incarnation of MrBeast’s iconic panther logo.

Also up for sale are a few bulkier Mutator Panther collectibles and a Funko Pop-like MrBeast Lab vinyl figure in his presentation. Jimmy Donaldson has built a $700 million empire that has expanded far beyond digital media to include his Feastables chocolate brand and MrBeast Burger. However, his debut toy line is not currently featured on his YouTube channel. Likewise, his Instagram account makes no mention of it, and neither does his X account. A recent post on X addressed the controversy surrounding former Mr Beast team member Ava Tyson.

Ava Tyson initially faced backlash from fans due to her transition from male to female. However, in July, she faced allegations of grooming and scrutiny for her association with hentai and lolicon artist Shadman. The alleged inappropriate messages were apparently sent via Discord. Both Tyson and the alleged victim have denied any allegations of wrongdoing on either side. In response, Donaldson stated on X, “Over the past few days, I have become aware of serious allegations of Ava Tyson’s behavior online and I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts.” And Tyson confirmed on X that she will be stepping away from all things MrBeast.

YouTuber DogPack404 released a bombshell video detailing how Donaldson falsified videos, bullied employees, and created a toxic work environment. The former MrBeast team member labeled the YouTuber a “fraud” and a “sociopath,” claims that were quickly refuted by current MrBeast employees. The video also featured a former writer on the channel who he said suffered “war crime-level torture” in 100 days of isolation video. Other complaints include the wrongful termination of Jake and a colleague after they complained of mistreatment and pressure to delete or downplay team members’ social media for fear that they would compete with MrBeast’s popularity.

It also emerged that Donaldson may have knowingly hired a registered sex offender to work in an environment that often involves children. The alleged sex offender appeared in MrBeast videos in 2018 and 2019 and went by the name Delaware. Documents provided show a man convicted of fourth-degree rape for having sex with a person under the age of 18. Former team member Jake Franklin confirmed that Delaware is his brother-in-law and is a registered sex offender. In a post on X, he said Delaware was supposed to be a “backstage” manager and Donaldson was made aware of his previous conviction from the start.

Finally, YouTuber Rosanna Pansino revealed that several participants in Donaldson's upcoming film Beast Games have been hospitalized due to insufficient resources. The Amazon-backed series, which has earned the creator $100 million, is set in Las Vegas and will resume filming soon. More than a dozen participants have come forward, claiming they were not given adequate food or medical care and that many suffered injuries as a result of the challenges. In a reportedly leaked email to company employees, Donaldson pledged to overhaul safety processes, hire a new HR manager, provide sensitivity training and conduct an external review.
