Popular Action Anime Series NieR:Automata Ver1.1a received new stunning ear accessories in collaboration with well-known Japanese fashion brand MAYLA, which capture the “mechanical, fragile and beautiful” designs of 2B and 9S.




CBR can exclusively reveal in English that MAYLA is collaborating with the NieR:Automata Ver1.1a anime series about the new 2B and 9S-inspired ear accessories, with pre-orders starting on September 6 (5:00 p.m. JST) until October 6 at noon JST. MAYLA incorporates the characters' costumes and worldview with the brand's unique aesthetic, creating a “mechanical, fragile, and beautiful” design for the earrings. Formally titled “NieR:Automata Ver1.1a ICONIQUE EAR OBJET,” the earrings can be purchased worldwide via MAYLA's WorldShopping service or via Aitai Kuji. They are priced at 19,800 yen (~US$135). MAYLA Launches 2B and 9S-Inspired NieR:Automata Earrings for International Pre-Order

2B's earrings feature a motif inspired by her costume. The top is inspired by the Tears of the Moon/Luna Tear, while the bottom is inspired by her White Contract weapon; the rhinestones capture her elegance and reserved personality. 9S's costume motif is engraved on her earrings, with the top inspired by her choker and the middle and gold parts inspired by her messenger bag and buttons respectively. A similar elegance is intended for the rhinestones. Both come in a special box, which provides a black and gold collector's frame to display the earrings as works of art.
