It's been five years since the Marvel superhero series Legion aired its final episode. Dan Stevens, who played lead character David Haller, recently shared his thoughts on the show and its unique approach to the genre.
“It certainly does. [hold a place in my heart]”, Stevens told ComicBook. “I think it really, to this day, stands out as a very, very unusual and bizarre cousin of the Marvel Universe. That also played on a number of different tropes. Every day was totally different, very busy. But also, as a performer, incredibly expansive and with a terrific cast, working with really, really special actors and directors. We had Ana Lily Amirpour and the Daniels come in and do episodes and it was just amazing. But yeah, as far as where it sits now, I think Legion is firmly in the TVA void..”

The series chronicles Haller's life as he tries to master his mutant abilities while dealing with mysterious forces that want to manipulate him.
Stevens is open to reprising the role
Although the series has ended, Stevens has said he is open to reprising his role as David Haller, who is also the son of Professor Charles Xavier, in the MCU if the opportunity arises. “I would imagine so,” he said when asked about a potential return in April 2024.I loved that character. I loved doing that show. There was such a creative team behind it, and yeah, I loved it. So, you know, if they want to bring it back, I'm here..”
