Manifesto of intimidation tactics

Intimidation tactics debuted in 2003 and the first season was hosted by the late Shannen Doherty. It featured real people being put into scary situations, usually with special effects and the recreation of scenes from classic horror films. Stephen Baldwin took over as host midway through the second season and, by the third season, had Saturday night liveTracy Morgan as host until the fifth and final season, which aired in 2013. Despite its history with famous hosts, the reboot will not have one.

Instead, the new iteration of Intimidation tactics will have a new type of host: a ghostly preteen named Flip. The new host is described as “a ghostly preteen obsessed with horror movies and fascinated by human fear.” The new season will follow unsuspecting people as they are framed by their friends and family and placed into scary, horror-filled scenarios. However, there will be some guest stars such as WWE's The New Day, who initially believe they are part of a promotional event featuring WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

The official description for the rebooted show says that the series will “transform unsuspecting individuals into the main characters of their own personal horror films. This pulse-pounding spectacle takes a cinematic approach to the hidden camera concept. Organized by their friends and family, these unsuspecting participants are placed into hilariously twisted scenarios with fully immersive storylines that blur the lines between reality, horror and comedy. As they face one unreal decision after another, audiences will laugh, jump and gasp for more.”
