YouTube's Digital Dreams has released a video showing Cyberpunk 2077 in 8K with over 300 mods and Ultra+ path tracing. This video gives you an idea of what a heavily modified version of CDPR's title will look like in 2024.
For this gameplay video, the YouTuber used an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X with 32 GB RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090. Unfortunately, he didn't add a performance overlay, so we don't have any concrete performance numbers.
From the footage, it's clear that the game is well below 60fps. Furthermore, it almost goes without saying that Digital Dreams has used DLSS 3 with frame generation. For all the purists out there, this isn't native 8K. Still, the game looks great.

In case you didn't know, Ultra+ is a mod that significantly improves the game's path tracing effects. Among other things, the mod allows color integration of particles into path tracing. This improves smoke, steam, sparks, and electricity, as well as lighting the PT scene. In addition, it also reworks the hair in path tracing so that it looks more realistic in full sun, as well as in lit and unlit interiors. Additionally, the mod adjusts the skin when using path tracing and ray tracing.
For anyone using Path Tracing, the Ultra+ mod is a must-have. It not only improves the quality of Path Tracing but also the performance. Its developer has claimed that it can speed up PT performance by 30-40%.
If you don't want to use the Ultra+ mod, you can try other Path Tracing/Ray Tracing mods. For example, this mod disables all artificial lights when using PT/RT. And then we have this mod that can enhance path traced reflections.
