Fallout London devs working on “big” patch coming after fixes

Fallout London launched late last month, but the massive, long-in-development mod is so buggy that Nic had to abandon his attempts to play it. Its developers have already promised fixes, and now they're saying a “major” update is on the way.

“We have big plans for the future, we're starting with a fix,” reads the message shared on the Team FOLON Discord server. “This fix will address some crashes and include core systems like 'Buffout 4' that will be merged into the mod itself. We've also identified a few other fixes that will help right away. Additionally, we'll be explaining certain features we've added that may not be as useful as we thought, so stay tuned for those details.”

“The future is bright! We're working on a HUGE patch that will address all of the issues reported in our Discord floaty-patrol channel, as well as many quest-related and other issues.

“So the plan is: Let's release a fix first to stop the crashes and help, then release a major patch.”

The developers also say they will be holding a developer gameplay stream on their Twitch channel on Thursday, August 8 at 20:00 BST (14:00 CST), offering “behind-the-scenes insights” into the development of the mod. If you're looking for help with bugs, they're still offering “one-on-one troubleshooting” to players via Discord.

Nic enjoyed the small amount of Fallout London he played, but was stuck with it sending him straight to his desktop for a few hours. Hopefully these patches will fix the issue soon and we can get him back in search of Big Dave.
