Nintendo has officially released The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom for the Nintendo Switch. As mentioned, the game is already playable on the Nintendo Switch emulator Ryujinx, so here's a video showing 10 minutes of it running on an NVIDIA RTX 4090 at over 120 fps. Yes, you read that right. You can play this new Zelda game at really high frame rates.
To record this gameplay footage, YouTuber reznoire used an Intel Core i9-14900K with 32GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 4090. He also used Ryujinx 1.1.1398, which is the latest public version of the emulator, which you can download from the official website.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom uses an overhead view, like the classic SNES games. This time, players control Zelda, who is on a mission to rescue Link and protect the kingdom of Hyrule. To help her on this journey, Zelda uses the Tri-Staff, a magical tool given to her by a fairy named Tri, who guides her along the way.
As I said before, I'm not surprised that Ryujinx can run this latest Nintendo Switch game so smoothly. After all, this has been the case with many Nintendo Switch games before it. Games like Red Dead Redemption, Bayonetta 3, Monster Hunter Rise, Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, and Pikmin 4 were all playable on PC as soon as they came out.
All in all, PC gamers will have the best gaming experience on Nintendo Switch again this year. It's really ironic. Just imagine how much money Nintendo would make if it ported its games to PC. Because right now, there's nothing Big N can do to defeat Ryujinx. They got lucky with Yuzu. But Ryujinx seems to be in a safe place.
It goes without saying that we will not be sharing ROM links of the game, so please don't share one in the comments section, your comment will be deleted if you do.
Enjoy the video!
