Do you remember the Samurai/Ninja class mod for Dragon's Dogma 2 that was inspired by Final Fantasy and Ghost of Tsushima? Then we have good news for you. The developer has now released a new mod that introduces an Assassin class, so let's take a look.
The skills of this profession are reimagined with the skills/resources available in Dragon's Dogma 2 using alphaZomega's Skill Maker.
As the modder noted, this new class has three main fighting techniques. These are the Samurai Techniques, the Ninja Techniques and the Forbidden Arts.
This class is designed to be fast, flexible, and adaptable in combat, but note that some abilities can deal area damage that can hit nearby teammates. The modder also suggests using one-handed swords for this class, either with or without a shield.
You can download the mod via this link. I have also attached two videos at the end of the article. The first is a teaser trailer, while the second shows off most of the abilities.
Speaking of DD2, there are a few other cool mods you can download for it. However, these mods may not be compatible with this new profession mod.
You can download this mod that improves mouse camera movement. Another mod adds a cool targeting combat mechanic. Then we have this mod that prevents you from falling off rocks and cliffs. There's also this mod that tries to make the game feel more like Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen.
Let's also not forget this mod that improves the quality of Ray Tracing and reduces its smearing effects. Also, you can download this mod to enable Path Tracing. While there are still some issues, man, the game can look so good with Path Tracing. There's also this mod that adds teleport waypoints to all the important locations. Then we have this mod that allows you to use Normal Maps at the highest quality and fixes a compression issue that could affect every single texture. Finally, you can get some 4K texture packs here and here.
Have fun!
