While Andor Season 1 featured the participation of Rogue One characters like Mon Mothma and Saw Gerrera, Cassian's story was largely separate from their stories, instead detailing key events that led to him joining the Rebel Alliance full-time. Comparatively, Luna teased that the “stakes are bigger” in season 2, with each three-episode block covering one of the four years of Cassian's life leading up to his film debut. Andor will also bring more familiar faces from the Rogue One timeline, with D23 footage confirming the appearances of companion droid K-2SO (Alan Tudyk) and Imperial officer Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), though it's not yet clear when they will appear during the events of season two.
