The trailer opens with a flashback of a bloody girl with a music box named Eve Macarro who meets Winston (Ian McShane) at a police station, who asks her if she likes dancing and offers to take Eve to a school for proper training. Macarro's training, however, also teaches her the ways of being an assassin, including how to “improvise” and “cheat” if she wishes to defeat opponents older than her. From there, an adult Eve (Ana de Armas) can be seen touring the Continental, meeting both Winston and Charon (Lance Reddick) — and fighting various targets as part of his revenge, overpowering them with guns, grenades, ice skates, and even a fire hose versus a flamethrower.

In the end, this brings her into contact with John Wick (Keanu Reeves)who, when Eve presses him on how to become a killer like him, replies: “It seems like you've already done it.”

But it's fun. It's super fun. The choreography is tight, tight, tight. In by Daryl DixonIt's a free fight. It's a sloppy fight. There are no sloppy fights in [Ballerina].”

There's a lot of one-takes, I think, but also an incredible amount of craftsmanship. I think it's going to be great.
