Many Wolverine fans were disappointed by the first gameplay footage of Marvel's Wolverine. Thankfully, however, there is a way to get your Deadpool and Wolverine fix. Batman: Arkham Knight, a game that still looks and plays great today, now has a Deadpool & Wolverine mod.
Yesterday, modder “Medi” released this mod. According to his description, it adds several Deadpool and Wolverine suit variants for Batman, Nightwing and Red Hood. So you can now play as Wolverine while your buddy looks like Deadpool. Or vice versa.
From what I can see, the suits are similar to what some other modders released earlier this year. To give you an idea of what the modded game looks like, I've included the video below.
It also appears that Wolverine has full facial animations. This means that he speaks during cutscenes. Still, you shouldn't expect to hear Hugh Jackman's voice. After all, this is just a character swap mod. Perhaps a modder could use AI tools to change Batman's voice for this particular mod? We know it's possible.
Speaking of AI audio mods, I've seen a lot of them for Cyberpunk 2077, so most character swap mods should also have AI-powered voices for their characters. That would make these mods even better.
Anyway, you can download Deadpool & Wolverine Mod from this link.
As I've reported before, Batman: Arkham Knight runs great on modern PCs. Yes, when it came out, the game had a lot of issues on PC. However, in 2024, PC gamers will finally be able to enjoy it to its fullest. Heh, better late than never, I guess.
Ironically, Arkham Knight feels so much better than the latest Rocksteady title, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. It's really funny.
Finally, the game no longer has Denuvo. In 2020, Warner Bros removed it, so that's another plus point for the latest PC version.
Have fun!
