Despite not being released close to Halloween, this new Crypt of Shadows has maintained the anthology series style of the original with three all-new stories from writer Al Ewing and several acclaimed artists. Since then, two Crypt of Shadows one-shot anthologies were printed in 2022 and 2023 respectively. In the last two years, Crypt of Shadows It was hosted by Victor Strange, the undead brother of Marvel Comics' Sorcerer Supreme.
