What will happen in episode 206?
A major turning point in Season 2, Episode 5 was the murder of Valandil. Kemen actor Leon Wadham also recently spoke to CBR about his character's decision, explaining what his motivations might have been. The actor continued to tease how the aftermath of the murder could go either way, as the fallout from the murder is explored in Episode 206.
“When MÃriel goes to the Southlands… Kemen has had a taste of what his father was like in charge,” he explained. “He's seen what it feels like to have real power, and he's sure that the side he's on is the one that should have it. All of that, I think, has helped him get to this point. [of killing Valandil].”
Wadham added: “That said, I don't think he goes into that final scene of this episode trying to make that darker choice. I think he's trying to make a strong impression, a show of strength, and things get out of hand pretty quickly. I don't think that ceremonial sword is even going to come out of the scabbard! The question from here is will he be penalized for that or will he be rewarded for that?”
