10 Darkest Character Arcs in My Hero Academia, Ranked

No matter the intentions of some of MHA’s heroes, sometimes their dark personal journey is enough to derail them from the path of right and good.

Izuku “Deku” Midoriya’s Quirk, “One For All,” was passed down to him by All Might. “One For All” allows the user to transfer their ability from one person to another. The user has immense power that enhances their physical abilities like strength, durability and speed. The current wielder can also use the previous One For All owners’ original Quirks and communicate with them.

Midoriya’s dream was to be a Pro Hero, but the chances of that happening were slim because he wasn’t born with a Quirk. It wasn’t until All Might gifted him One For All that Midoriya began his Pro Hero journey. Due to intensive training and increasing self-confidence, Midoriya became one of the leaders in his class. He has a kind and optimistic personality and is obsessed with Pro Heroes.

Like Tenya Ida and Tsuyu Asui, Midoriya has a strong vision of how justice should look in society based on his experiences of seeing corruption within the Pro Hero system and understanding the vigilante ideology behind some criminals like Stain and Lady Nagant. After witnessing Tomura Shigaraki’s torment and suffering, Midoriya makes it his goal to save Tomura. At first, Midoriya had a naive sense of what being a hero looks like. Yet, when he learned about the corruption within heroes and the misunderstandings of villains, he realized what it means to be a true hero.

Katsuki “Great Explosion Murder God: Dyanamight” Bakugo has an overpowering Quirk: “Explosion.” Bakugo produces nitroglycerin-like sweat in his hands, allowing him to create powerful explosions. He also mastered how to propel himself using his explosions. Bakugo is Izuku Midoriya’s childhood best friend. Even though Bakugo may tease and bully Midoriya at times, he still cares for his well-being, even using himself as a shield to protect Midoriya in battle. Bakugo has a short-tempered and arrogant attitude toward others, yet in battle, Bakugo shows that he is dependable.

Shoto Todoroki’s powerful Quirk is called “Half-Cold Half-Hot.” Shoto can release ice on the right side of his body, and on the left side, he can emit flames. He inherited his Quirk from his parents. When he first attended U.A. High School, Shoto refused to use his flames because it reminded him of his father, Endeavor, and the suffering he experienced under his intensive training. Shoto slowly began accepting the flames within him and using them more in battle. Shoto is learning to mend his estranged relationship with Endeavor as he starts training under him again.

Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, and Katsuki Bakugo in My Hero Academia

Ochaco “Uravity” Uraraka’s Quirk is “Zero Gravity.” Ochaco’s Quirk nullifies gravity on solid objects just by touching them; as a result, the solid object can float effortlessly. She can cancel the antigravity effect on an object by clasping her hands together. Ochaco has a kind and bubbly personality. She cares deeply for the well-being of Izuku Midoriya and has a crush on him. When the civilians believed that Izuku Midoriya was a threat, Ochaco gave an inspiring speech about Izuku Midoriya and how he would save the world.

Tsuyu “Rainy Season Hero: Froppy” Asui has an animal Quirk: “Frog.” She has the physiology and characteristics of a frog, like camouflaging herself, extending her tongue to about twenty meters, and secreting mucus with powerful effects such as paralysis and scent masking. She’s blunt and aloof, willing to speak her mind and express how she feels about other people. Tsuyu is best friends with Ochaco Uraraka.

Yuga “Shining Hero: Can’t Stop Twinkling” Aoyama’s Quirk is “Naval Laser,” which allows him to shoot a flashy laser from his belly button. Aoyama is flamboyant and sees himself as superior to others; however, he is deeply insecure about his upbringing. He was born Quirkless, and as a result, his family worried about him facing discrimination. Aoyama was given a Quirk from All For One; unfortunately, the Quirk forced Aoyama to be All For One’s spy. Aoyama feels guilty about his actions, but his classmates forgive him, and he joins the fight against All For One.

Toru “Stealth Hero: Invisible Girl” Hagakure’s Quirk is “Invisibility.” She can make herself invisible and refract light to create a blinding flash. She purposely unclothes herself as a tactical strategy when spying against an enemy. Toru is bubbly and cheerful; she always wants to bond and make memories with her peers. Toru is close to Yuga Aoyama, and when she discovers he’s a traitor, she is completely devastated.

Koji “Petting Hero: Anima” Koda’s Quirk is “Anivoice.” He can communicate and interact with animals. Koji is timid and quiet and prefers to use sign language when talking to others. Most of his classmates thought he couldn’t speak, so when he finally spoke, he surprised everyone. He enjoys cute things and has a pet rabbit named Yuwai-chan. All things considered, Koji can be quite the force on the battlefield if he manages to overcome his shyness.

Rikido “Sweets Hero: Sugarman” Sato has a Quirk called “Sugar Rush.” He can increase his physical strength by consuming at least ten grams of sugar. Rikido has a muscular physique, making him look intimidating. Like Koji, he’s a sweet guy, literally and figuratively. He enjoys baking and often bakes delicious desserts for his classmates. Although considerably strong, Sato is often sidelined in favor of other Class 1-A characters.

Mashirao “Martial Arts Hero: Tailman” Ojiro’s Quirk is “Tail.” Mashirao has a sturdy tail that acts like his third hand. He can use his tail to grab objects and people, and like an arm, his tail is used in hand-to-hand combat. Mashirao has a calming and humble personality. He is a hard worker, often seen training to be the best hero. Mashirao’s Quirk isn’t exactly powerful, but he can use it in a wide range of situations and environments.

Mezo “Tentacle Hero: Tentacole” Shoji’s Quirk is “Dupli-Arms.” He has tentacles that can form into bodily organs such as a mouth, an ear or a nose. He can also use his tentacles as grappling hooks to scale walls. While growing up, Shoji experienced a lot of discrimination due to his appearance. Hence, he wants to be a hero and fight against prejudice. In the manga’s Final Act Saga, Shoji goes up against Spinner, another character who suffered bigotry based on his reptilian exterior.

Hanta “Taping Hero: Cellophane” Sero has a convenient Quirk called “Tape.” He has tape dispenser organs on his elbows, allowing him to shoot and retract cellophane tape-like strips. These strips are sturdier than tape; thus, he can create intricate traps for enemies, wrap people’s bodies in them, and swing himself for long distances. Sero is the most social one out of all the Class 1-A students. He is seen having fun and playfully teasing his classmates.

Minoru “Fresh-Picked Hero: Grape Juice” Mineta’s Quirk ability is “Pop Off.” He can produce and pluck purple spheres from his scalp, and as soon as he plucks off one ball, it instantaneously gets replaced with another on his scalp. These purple spheres are adhesive and can stick to any surface aside from him. If Mineta touches these grape balls, he bounces off instead of sticking to them. Mineta has a pervy side, which makes him unpopular among both female students and fans.

10 Great Superhero Manga to Read Now That My Hero Academia Is Over

Even with My Hero Academia over, superhero fans can still get their manga fix through several other books, some of which involve Marvel and DC heroes.

Mina “Pinky” Ashido’s Quirk is “Acid.” She produces an acidic fluid from her body, and she can control the solubility and viscosity of the fluid, making it great to use for offensive and defensive purposes. Ashido has unique physical features: pink skin, horns, and black eyes. She is very cheerful and friendly. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and dancing. Mina Ashido has mastered her Quirk to the point that she can combine moves with her classmates.

Kyoka “Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack” Jiro’s special Quirk is “Earphone Jack.” Kyoka has an earphone jack hanging out on each earlobe. When she plugs her earphone jacks into an object, she infuses her heartbeat into the object, causing a vibration attack. She also uses her earphone jack to hear vibrations and sounds around her and to track things at a distance. In the Final Act Saga, Kyoka’s performance against All For One makes her one of the strongest Class 1-A characters.

Denki “Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt” Kaminari’s Quirk is “Electrification.” His Quirk allows him to absorb and emit electricity. Denki is very social and energetic. He tries to flirt with girls, often joining Mineta’s schemes. He is good friends with Katsuki Bakugo and Eijiro Kirishima. Denki’s Electrification may not have an upper limit, allowing him to channel increasingly higher amounts of electric current. Technically, he could knock out most characters with a billion-volt attack.

Eijiro “Sturdy Hero: Red Riot” Kirishima’s powerful defensive Quirk is “Hardening.” His Quirk allows him to harden and sharpen any part of his body, resulting in his body being jagged and rocky. Kirishima is outgoing and proud of his masculinity. He’s loyal to his friends and is willing to break laws to save them. Kirishima’s friendship with Bakugo is one of the highlights of My Hero Academia, as it helps ease the constantly infuriated Bakugo’s temper. At the same time, Kirishima has proven to be an exceptional hero on multiple occasions.

Fumikage “Jet-Black Hero: Tsukuyomi” Tokoyami’s powerful Quirk is “Dark Shadow.” Tokoyami can manifest a dark-shadow monster from his body. The monster’s power, personality and control are determined by how much light is around. If the monster is exposed to a lot of light, the light will drain its power. Tokoyami has a crow-like head. He’s known to be reserved and stoic, but once he starts getting to know someone, he can easily socialize with them. He interned with the Pro Hero Hawks, who mentored him and helped Tokoyami improve his control over Dark Shadow.

Momo “Everything Hero: Creati” Yaoyorozu has a creative Quirk called “Creation.” She can make non-living objects out of her skin by using fat cells from her body, just as long as she knows the object’s molecular structure. Momo is Class 1-A’s Vice Representative. Momo lacks confidence in her skills as a hero, but through the encouragement of her classmates and teachers, she always finds the strength to do her best.

Tenya “Turbo Hero: Ingenium” Ida’s Quirk is “Engine.” Ida has engines on his calves, which give him speed and kicking power. He is Class 1-A’s Class Representative. Ida shows excellent leadership skills and has an honest and noble personality. He comes from a highly esteemed family and is proud of his family background. Ida greatly admires his older brother, Tensei. Tenya Ida inherits his older brother’s alias, Ingenium, after Stain severely injured his brother.

Itsuka “Battle Fist” Kendo is the Class Representative of Class 1-B, and her Quirk is “Big Fist.” She can enlarge her hands into a gigantic fist, making it easy for her to grapple things and pack huge punches. Kendo first revealed her skills against Mustard during the Forest Training Camp arc, and later defeated Momo Yaoyorozu during their Joint Training.

Neito “Phantom Thief” Monoma’s Quirk is “Copy.” He can copy another user’s Quirk through physical contact. Neito has an inferiority complex as he wants to be the best hero and student. He’s highly competitive, seizing to win any battle or competition against Class 1-A. Neito is known to be loud and sarcastic to his classmates, but his peers respect him due to his leadership skills and assertiveness. Who Does Deku End Up With in the Final Chapter of My Hero Academia?

Chapter 430 may describe the successful and personally meaningful careers of class 1-A’s students but who does Deku end up with?

Mirio “Lemillion” Togata’s Quirk is “Permeation.” He can make his physical body intangible, allowing him to pass through tangible matter, such as walls. Mirio was originally going to be the successor to All Might’s One For All, but All Might decided to give the power to Izuku Midoriya. Mirio lost his Quirk after being hit with Kai Chisaki’s Quirk-Destroying Drug. Fortunately, Eri used her “Rewind” Quirk to restore his Quirk. Mirio has a charismatic and friendly personality, making him the ideal hero of justice. Even when he lost his Quirk, he never gave up hope and believed that his Quirk would return.

Nejire “Nejire Chan” Hado’s powerful Quirk is “Wave Motion.” She converts her life force into energy and releases that energy into powerful spiral shockwaves. Nejire has to be strategic when using her Quirk because if she overextends herself, it leads to exhaustion. Nejire has a bubbly and free-spirited personality. Nejire had difficulty fitting in at U.A. High School but found a sense of belonging when she befriended Mirio and Tamaki.

Tamaki “Suneater” Amajiki has a unique and fun Quirk called “Manifest.” He’s able to manifest the physical attributes of anything he eats. For example, if Tamaki eats takoyaki, his fingers turn into octopus tentacles. His ability can only last until the food is fully digested. Unlike Mirio and Nejire, Tamaki has an introverted and socially awkward personality. He lacks confidence in his abilities and power but eventually finds the strength to overcome these emotions.

10 MHA Storylines That Should Have Ended Better

My Hero Academia didn’t quite live up to the full potential of several key storylines, whether it’s due to a lack of focus or the wrong direction.

Hitoshi Shinso’s Quirk is “Brainwashing.” He can take control of a person’s mind and force them to adhere to his commands. His Quirk can only work when an individual answers his questions. Shinso is in the General Course Studies pathway at U.A. High School; however, he hopes to transfer to the Heroes course because he wants to become a hero and prove that his Quirk isn’t dangerous. After the end of the main story, Eraser Head reveals that Shinso would be taking Aoyama’s place in Class 1-A.

Mei Hatsume is a first-year student on the Support Course pathway. She has a Quirk called “Zoom,” which allows her to see objects within five kilometers away. Mei is intelligent and creative but has a wacky and over-the-top personality. She is obsessed with her gadget creations and has invented some gear for Midoriya, such as air force gloves. Mei’s engineering genius has helped Deku control the force of his Quirk while simultaneously allowing him to devise new moves and attacks.

10 My Hero Academia Characters Who Never Got A Proper Ending

All of the best characters had a worthy sendoff at the end of MHA as they faced the future together, but that party didn’t quite include everyone.

Toshinori “All Might” Yagi is the former wielder of the Quirk One For All before bestowing the power on Izuku Midoriya. All Might was also the No 1. Hero until his retirement following All For One’s defeat in Kamino. As the No. 1 Hero, he was dubbed the “Symbol of Peace.” All Might is undoubtedly the Symbol of Peace because he always smiles and interacts with his fans while simultaneously saving them from danger. After he retired, All Might became the Heroics teacher at U.A. High School. Although he has no teaching experience, All Might incorporates his enthusiasm and positive energy into his teaching style. He acts as a mentor and father figure to Izuku Midoriya and his students.

Shota “Eraser Head” Aizawa is Class 1-A’s homeroom teacher. His Quirk is “Erasure.” He can nullify a person’s Quirk through eye contact. Eraser Head has sustained significant injuries; thus, he is unable to use his Quirk for long periods. He is also known to be a strict teacher and has high expectations of his students. He is close friends with Hizashi Yamada and Oboro Shirakumo, shedding tears after meeting Oboro in the form of Kurogiri. Eraser Head was briefly considered a cool hero by Tomura, but he has always been one for the members of Class 1-A.

Hizashi “Voice Hero: Present Mic” Yamada is the English instructor at U.A. High School. His Quirk is “Voice.” He can increase the volume of his voice into a sonic scream, causing people’s ears to bleed from great distances. He has an eccentric personality and enjoys narrating every school life event. Hizashi had a tight bond with Oboro, and expressed great sadness upon learning what happened to his friend’s corpse. He plays a notable albeit tiny role in the Final Act Saga.

Nezu is the principal of U.A. High School. He is one of the rare animals that miraculously got a Quirk. Nezu’s Quirk is “High Spec,” granting him a high level of intelligence that surpasses most human beings. He cares deeply about the education system and the well-being of his students. Nezu also suffered greatly for his rodent appearance while growing up, but he usually doesn’t reveal his trauma unless motivated by stressful situations.

Sekijiro “Vlad King” Kan is the homeroom teacher for Class 1-B. Vlad King’s Quirk is “Blood Control,” which allows him to manipulate and control his blood once it is out of his body. Like Eraser Head, Vlad King cares a lot about his students and encourages them to do their best. Unlike Eraser Head, however, Vlad cares more about Class 1-B than Class 1-A, often encouraging his students to surpass their competition with a clearly biased tone.

Nemuri “R-Rated Hero: Midnight” Kayama was the Modern Hero Art History instructor. Her Quirk is “Somnambulist,” which allows her to emit a sleep-inducing aroma from her body and causes people near her to slumber. Midnight has a playful and flirtatious personality, and she puts it on display in front of her students. Unfortunately, she was killed in the Paranormal Liberation War while trying to stop Gigantomachia, but her legacy continues with her students.

Sorahiko “Gran Torino” Torino is a former homeroom teacher at U.A. High School and a retired Pro Hero. Gran Torino’s Quirk is “Jet,” which allows him to shoot air jets from the soles of his feet. Gran Torino is a strict mentor toward All Might and Izuku Midoriya. He scolds them if they make any mistakes and praises them for their heroic actions. Despite his advanced age, however, Gran Torino proves to be quite an effective combatant. He even impresses Endeavor by defeating a Nomu.

My Hero Academia Reveals 5 New Projects After Manga’s Conclusion

Kohei Horikoshi’s My Hero Academia unveils 5 new projects following its ending, commemorating its global appeal with a massive worldwide poll.

Enji “Endeavor” Todoroki is the current No. 1 Pro Hero. He was ranked the No. 2 Pro Hero until All Might’s retirement. While he was the No. 2 Pro Hero, he saw All Might as his rival and gained an unhealthy obsession to surpass him. Endeavor’s obsession caused him to have an estranged relationship with his wife, Rei Himura, and his children. Yet after becoming the No. 1 Pro Hero, he gains perspective on his mistakes as a father and a hero, resulting in his attempt to rekindle his family ties. Endeavor’s overpowering Quirk is “Hellflame.” He can produce and manipulate an immense amount of fire at will.

Keiko “Wing Hero: Hawks” Tagami is the current No. 2 Pro Hero. Hawks has a convenient quirk: “Fierce Wings.” He has a set of large, red wings on his back that allow him to fly, and he can telekinetically control and manipulate each of his feathers as deadly projectiles. Hawks has a laid-back and carefree personality. He goes undercover as a spy investigating the Paranormal Liberation Front, where he’s unfortunately forced to kill Twice. Hawks later supports Endeavor in the battle against All For One.

Tsunagu “Fiber Hero: Best Jeanist” Hakamada is the No. 3 Pro Hero. His Quirk is the “Fiber Master,” which allows him to control and manipulate any threads of fabric near him. Best Jeanist takes his role as a hero seriously and has a brave and charismatic personality. Best Jeanist makes an epic comeback in the Paranormal Liberation War arc when he uses his Quirk to detain many League of Villains members. He’s also around to support Bakugo during the Final Act Saga.

Mirai “Sir Nighteye” Sasaki was All Might’s former sidekick and Mirio Togata’s mentor. Sir Nighteye’s Quirk is “Foresight,” which allows him to see a person’s future by touching the individual and making eye contact. Sadly, Sir Nighteye passed away after being impaled by razor-sharp stone missiles during Eri’s rescue mission. Nighteye molded both Deku and Lemillion into great heroes, leaving behind a legacy that will always be remembered. He would have been happy to learn that the future he feared the most was subverted by Bakugo.

Cathleen “Star and Stripe” Bate is the No. 1 Pro Hero in the United States of America. She admires All Might because he rescued her and her family. She immediately comes to help the Pro Heroes in Japan fight against All For One. Star and Stripe’s Quirk is “New Order.” She can create a new law or rule within her surroundings. She is a key figure in the fight against Tomura Shigaraki as she uses her Quirk against him, only to be destroyed by his “Decay”. However, Star and Stripe’s “New Order” causes serious problems within Tomura’s Quirk library before disintegrating.

Shinya “Edgeshot” Kamihara is one of the strongest Pro Heroes in the story. However, he doesn’t play a notable role until the Final Act Saga. The heroes are completely overwhelmed by Tomura, whose body has evolved to keep up with his massive stock of Quirks. Bakugo singlehandedly attempts to defeat the villain, but Tomura launches an attack powerful enough to destroy his heart. Utilizing his Quirk “Foldabody,” Edgeshot manages to repair Bakugo’s heart while seemingly sacrificing himself in the process. Thankfully, both of them end up surviving.

My Hero Academia’s Most Powerful Students from Each School

While MHA focuses on the students of Class 1-A, U.A. is not the only Pro Hero school in the shonen anime and each has star students.

Yoichi Shigaraki is the first user of One For All, and he is the twin brother of All For One. It was assumed that Yoichi was Quirkless, but he did have a Quirk. His original Quirk was “Quirk Bestowal” which allows his Quirk to be transferred to another person through their DNA, an utterly useless ability overall. When his brother grants him a stockpile Quirk, however, it merges with his original Quirk, resulting in the birth of One For All. Yoichi has been guiding Deku through his journey since the Deika City Incident.

Nana Shimura was the seventh One For All user. She passed the Quirk to All Might. Her original Quirk was “Float,” allowing her to levitate and fly. Nana is the grandmother of Tenko Shimura, who ends up becoming the villain, Tomura Shigaraki. Nana Shimura’s power level is unknown, but she was probably quite strong with One For All. She has also appeared within Deku’s inner mind since Deika City, even asking him if he was prepared to kill her grandson. Thankfully for both Nana and Deku, he states that he’d like to save Tomura first.

Kudo is the second user of One For All, gaining the Quirk directly from the original source. He’s also responsible for rescuing Yoichi from his twin brother, although his “Gearshift” Quirk was pretty weak and negligible during his lifetime. After years of stewing inside One For All, however, Kudo’s “Gearshift” became so strong that it could exponentially boost Deku’s overall power. Unfortunately, Kudo and the remaining predecessors leave Deku and enter Tomura, weakening him from within. Having completed their ultimate mission, none of them are ever seen again.

10 My Hero Academia Characters With The Perfect Send Off

As the dust begins to settle with the final chapter of the My Hero Academia manga, several characters get the send off they wholeheartedly deserve.

Inko Midoriya is Deku’s single mother and one of his greatest champions. A father is mentioned, but Hisashi Midoriya hasn’t been seen even once in the series, leaving Inko to handle all the parental duties. She describes her Quirk as the Attraction of Small Objects, essentially a weak form of Telekinesis. Although Inko has always supported Deku’s goals, she nearly wanted to take him out of school after Bakugo’s kidnapping. However, watching All Might offer his sincerest apologies changed her mind.

Eri is one of the most interesting characters in My Hero Academia. Her “Rewind” Quirk theoretically allows her to reverse the conditions of a living organism to what it was before. She can transform adults into babies, then foetuses, and finally zygotes before they vanish forever. Eri is notably involved in the Shie Hassaikai arc, where her rescue forms the motivation for many heroes. Eri’s Quirk might be an example of Quirk Singularity, because the horn on her head linked to “Rewind” is rather similar to the first Quirk in existence: the “Spearlike Bones” Quirk belonging to All For One and Yoichi’s mother.

The Infamous League of Villains & Paranormal Liberation Front

  • The League of Villains is a criminal organization that was formed by All For One. Their goal is to restore society to its former “glory” when quirks ran rampage, and no Pro Heroes, like All Might, could stop them. After defeating the Meta Liberation Army, the two organizations merged to form the Paranormal Liberation Front.

New My Hero Academia: You’re Next Trailer Revealed Ahead of North American Release

Anime distributor Toho International reveals the new My Hero Academia: You’re Next trailer, set for release in October in the United States & Canada.

Tomura Shigaraki, whose original name is Tenko Shimura, is the leader of the League of Villains and the Paranormal Liberation Front. Shigaraki aims to destroy Izuku Midoriya and the Pro Hero society and create a new society where his villains can live in harmony. Shigaraki had a difficult childhood. His father constantly abuses and punishes him. One night, Shigaraki loses control of his Quirk out of anger and kills his entire family.

Due to his troublesome past, Shigaraki sees the world as a cruel and insufferable place until he is taken in by All For One. Shigaraki’s original Quirk is “Decay,” which allows him to disintegrate anything he touches. Once he touches organic or inorganic material, his decay power quickly spreads. Shigaraki also inherits All For One and successfully prevents All For One from taking control of his body.

All For One is the founder of the League of Villains. His enemy was All Might, who was the current user of One For All, the Quirk that originally belonged to his twin brother, Yoichi Shigaraki. One For All is the only power that can oppose his power, All For One, which is why he was obsessed with obtaining it. All For One planned on using Tomura Shigaraki as its next vessel. However, Tomura Shigaraki stopped All For One from taking over his body. The All For One Quirk allows the user to steal other people’s Quirks and can also give Quirks to others. With this power, All For One believes he can take over the world and become the supreme ruler. However, his selfish and egotistical attitude led to his demise.

Kurogiri is a high-ranked Nomu created by Doctor Kyudai Garaki. Kurogiri is composed of the corpse of Oboro Shirakumo, the friend of Shota Aizawa and Hizashi Yamada. Kurogiri was assigned as the protector and guardian of Tomura Shigaraki by All For One. He was imprisoned until Spinner rescued him. Kurogiri has a powerful Quirk called “Warp Gate.” He releases a dark fog from his hands and head, and it acts as a portal, allowing the individuals who enter the fog to relocate to another place as long as he has the exact coordinates.

Doctor Kyudai Garaki, also known as Daruma Ujiko and Dr. Tsubasa, is a loyal servant of All For One and Tomura Shigaraki. He’s the scientist behind the creation of the Nomu, which are monsters made from human corpses. The Nomu are capable of possessing several Quirks, making them into super soldiers. Doctor Kyudai Garaki’s Quirk is “Life Force.” He can extend his lifespan and is blessed with a youthful appearance.

Gigantomachia is another loyal servant to All For One and Tomura Shigaraki. He’s faithful to his master and believes his sole purpose is to fulfill any tasks or wishes of his master. When given a command, he would only focus on that specific objective and is willing to destroy anything that gets in his way of achieving his goal. Gigantomachia is said to have possessed six other Quirk abilities, including gigantification, pain blocker and energy saver.

Dabi, whose real name is Toya Todoroki, is the eldest son of the Pro Hero Endeavor. As a child, Dabi wanted to achieve his father’s dream of surpassing All Might at the expense of his health. When Endeavor focuses his efforts on his younger brother, Shota Todoroki, Dabi feels neglected and angry toward his father. Dabi’s difficult childhood led him to a life of crime and to join the League of Villains. Dabi has a similar quirk to his father’s. His Quirk, “Blueflame,” allows him to create and control blue flames. However, unlike his father, Dabi does not possess heat resistance, so he can easily burn himself.

Himiko Toga is one of the lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. She has a twisted personality and outlook on love and friendship despite having a strong desire to attain both. Toga is loyal to her comrades and is very close to Twice until his death. She also has an unhealthy obsession and “crush” on Izuku Midoriya. Her Quirk is “Transform.” Toga consumes a person’s blood and then physically transforms into a copy of that person. Her transformations are pure perfection; she can even mimic a person’s voice and clothing. The more blood Toga consumes, the longer she can stay within that transformation, and she can have multiple disguises at once if she drinks more than one type of blood.

10 Strongest Defensive Quirks In My Hero Academia

Most of the Quirks featured in My Hero Academia are offensive in nature, and certain Quirks have the power to cause large-scale destruction.

Jin “Twice” Bubaigawara had a curse of a Quirk rather than a blessing. His quirk is “Double.” He can make duplicates of inanimate and animate objects, including people. However, if he were to duplicate individuals, he would have no control over them because they have their own personalities and abilities. Twice has duplicated himself, but it has led to many traumatic experiences, causing him to be mentally unstable. Despite his mental issues, Twice is a beloved comrade as he shows great loyalty to his villainous team members, especially Himiko Toga. He dies in battle when facing Hawks during the Paranormal Liberation War.

Shuichi “Spinner” Iguchi is a loyal member of the League of Villains. He is a strong believer in Stain’s philosophy and wholeheartedly wants to create a society where he does not face discrimination due to his appearance. Spinner’s original quirk is “Gecko,” which gives him the characteristics of a gecko. All For One also gave Spinner two additional quirks: “Body Bulk,” which gives him an increase in muscle mass, and “Scalemail,” which gives him scale-like blades on his body. Although these Quirks give him immense attacking and defensive power, they put a mental strain on Spinner.

Atsuhiro “Mr. Compress” Sako is a former thief. His great-great-grandfather was the most-wanted thief known as the Peerless Thief, a thief who stole from the rich and gave to the poor. He joined the League of Villains because he wanted to eliminate an unjust social structure and expose corrupt heroes. He was captured and arrested during the Paranormal Liberation War. Mr. Compress’s Quirk is “Compress.” He can shrink anything into a marble-like object without damaging it. He can even compress a person just by touching them.

Rikiya “Re-Destro” Yotsubashi is the leader of the Meta Liberation Army, making him the main villain of the eponymous arc. He tries to defeat the League of Villains but fails before Tomura Shigaraki. Even the maximum potential of Re-Destro’s “Stress” Quirk turns out to be useless. Following this event, Re-Destro decided to change his path and accept Tomura as his master. The Meta Liberation Army and the League of Villains were subsequently merged into the Paranormal Liberation Front, giving Tomura and All For One considerable authority around Japan and the world.
