After miraculously managing to gain bail for his numerous crimes on the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man #57, Lonnie Lincoln, better known as Tombstone, wastes no time in fighting back against his enemies. Unfortunately, for now, Tombstone's biggest competition is his daughter Janice, aka Beetle, and the love of her life, Randy Robertson. Worse yet, Tombstone already has an advantage in both his opponents and his own muscle, which puts him in a prime position to maintain his place at the top by taking the life of the person he loves most.

Introduced in 1987 Spider-Man's Web #36 by writer Gerry Conway and artist Alex Saviuk, Tombstone had a troubled childhood that pushed him into a life of crime from an early age. When Tombstone made his comic book debut, he was already leading his own gang with a deft hand and an iron grip. Much like other prominent figures in the New York City criminal underworld, Tombstone has gone through periodic periods of decline during which the likes of Hammerhead and other Maggia crime lords have usurped his place, though recent years have seen him steadily rise to the top.
More recently, Tombstone's endeavors have put him in direct conflict with a plethora of other key underworld figures, from Hammerhead and Silvermane to the feared Madame Masque. These feuds have culminated in the Marvel Gang warfare storyline, which brought out nearly every single hero and villain New York City has to offer for one of the greatest brawls of all time. During the event, Hammerhead was nearly assassinated by Madame Masque, who positioned herself to take control of the city in its entirety before ultimately being defeated by the combined efforts of various heroes and villains.
While Tombstone was one of the biggest winners when the dust settled on Marvel Gang warfare settled down, his daughter was one of the biggest losers. Not only was Janice's relationship with Randy almost irreparably damaged, but both she and her father had shown each other that their personal ties didn't make up for any professional grudges. As such, Tombstone has set its sights on Janice's budding criminal empire, and there doesn't seem to be much hope of them reconciling before things turn deadly.

Spiderman
Since his first appearance in 1962, Spider-Man has been Marvel Comics' most popular character to date. Known for his sense of humor and misfortune, as well as his altruism and super-strength, Spider-Man has headlined countless titles over the years, with notable Spider-Man comics including The Amazing Spider-Man, Web of Spider-Man, and Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man.
Peter Parker was the original Spider-Man, but the Spider-Verse has become a major part of the character's lore in recent years. Multiversal and future Spider-Men include Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, Miguel O'Hara, and Peter Porker, the Spectacular Spider-Ham. This provided the premise for the popular Spider-Verse film trilogy, which makes Miles its titular hero.
Spider-Man is also the basis of several live-action film franchises and numerous animated television series. He is one of the most recognizable characters in the world. Although he has changed a lot over the decades, Steve Ditko and Stan Lee gave the world an unforgettable hero when they created Spider-Man.
